Summary

Mr. Vanech has a successful track record in all aspects of non-utility power project development, acquisitions, finance and general management. He has built and led teams in the independent power industry in the U.S. and abroad.

Experience

Mr. Vanech founded and ran Delta Power Company, LLC, a company that was sold to Bear Stearns affiliate Arroyo Energy in 2007.  Delta at its peak owned interests in 26 operating power plants across the U.S, with over $1.5 billion of assets.  Prior to forming Delta Power, Mr. Vanech was co-founder and President and CEO of Rolls-Royce Power Ventures, Inc., based in Morristown, New Jersey (a subsidiary of Rolls-Royce plc).

Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Mr. Vanech served as Vice President-Marketing for Enserch Development Corporation in Florham Park, NJ from 1992 to 1994. From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Vanech was Vice President - Project Finance with Chrysler Capital Corporation in Stamford, Connecticut.

From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Vanech was Principal - Acquisitions and Development for Catalyst Energy Corporation in New York, NY.   Mr. Vanech also held finance related positions with Lever Brothers Company in New York City and with Hano Business Forms in Springfield, Mass.

Mr. Vanech has served as a board member to the National Independent Energy Producers in Washington, DC (now part of the EPSA). He has also served on numerous panels and has presented speeches covering the domestic and international power markets, and has been featured in several industry publications.

Mr. Vanech holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing and Finance) from Western New England College in Springfield, Mass.
