Richard G. Vicens,
President
|
Summary
Mr. Vicens has an extensive background in raising
capital for a diverse range of domestic and
international energy projects in addition to
experience in the commercial development of
independent energy projects and natural gas trading
risk management.
Experience
Prior to being appointed as President of Olympus
Power, Mr. Vicens was Sr. Vice President of Delta Power Company
with responsibility for managing the company’s business
development and financing efforts. Prior to joining Delta
Power, Mr. Vicens was Managing Director, Project Finance & Risk
Management for MCN Energy Group, a diversified mid-western
energy company based in Detroit (now owned by DTE Energy). At
MCN, Mr. Vicens was charged with structuring and closing
non-recourse debt financing for independent power projects and
natural gas pipelines, in addition to the corporate risk
management framework for MCN’s natural gas trading subsidiary.
Prior to joining MCN, Mr. Vicens was Financial Manager for Amoco
Corporation, Prior to joining Amoco, Mr. Vicens served as
Associate at Salomon Smith Barney where he provided transaction
support for numerous public debt offerings.
Education
Mr. Vicens holds a Master of Business Administration
(Finance and Accounting) from the University of
Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical
Engineering from Bucknell University. |
