Brooklyn Navy Yard Cogeneration Project

Brooklyn Navy Yard Cogeneration Partners, L.P. is situated within the historic Navy Yard in Brooklyn, New York. The project supplies all of the steam and electric needs of the Navy Yard. While the Navy Yard continues to support the merchant marine industry, its primary function is now to host a diverse community of small commercial and light industrial tenants that provide essential goods and services to the City of New York and to the world. Besides providing the energy needs of the Navy Yard, the cogeneration plant is a strategic supplier of steam and electricity to Consolidated Edison Company and in turn is a leading provider of electricity and steam to the City of New York .
