Michigan Power Project

Michigan Power is situated immediately
adjacent to a large modern industrial facility owned and
operated by Occidental Chemical, situated in Ludington
Michigan. The Michigan Project is a modern cogeneration
plant which provides Occidental Chemical with all of its
steam requirements. The steam is an essential requirement to
the operation of the Occidental facility. In addition,
electricity is
generated and sold to Consumers Energy Company under a long
term power purchase
arrangement. |
